Dutch company By-X has co-mingled the worlds of whisky and porn with their Whisky By X. Launched in early 2014, the company sells whiskies bottled after the content has supposedly been poured over the bodies of adult models and performers.
This idea isn’t new to longtime readers of The Whiskey Reviewer, who will be acquainted with GSpirits of Germany, who were offering whisky poured over the body of German and Hungarian Playmate Alexa Varga. Like with GSpirits, the roots of By-X are found in an old European club trend in luxury vodka: filtration through precious stones and metals.
Those roots are made clear, because By-X itself points to how its whisky is filtered through both diamonds and gold. The added extra step of “body blending” on a model is what dips into the territory of “lads mags” like Maxim and FHM, with the current choices being porn star Tori Black and Dutch Playmate Joy Van Velsen.
