Ohio’s Watershed Distillery Set To Expand

Columbus, Ohio-based Watershed Distillery has told local media that they are readying for a major expansion. Their plans call for adding 3,000 sq. feet of space to their existing facility and adding a second still. The new still is expected to quadruple production capacity.

Watershed opened its doors in 2011 and have already reached capacity. They expect their new still and supporting equipment, such as fermentation vats, to be delivered by Spring 2016. After the expansion, Watershed should be turning out the equivalent of 400,000 bottles of spirit per year.

In it’s current line-up, Watershed as a four-grain, small barrel bourbon, as well as a vodka and two types of gin.
