Good Whisky Passport Offers Value, Charity In NYC

By Richard Thomas

The idea of pre-paid whiskey bar crawls has become popping up in different cities around the United States, but Good Passport, Booze Menus, In A Half Shell and Mouth.com have taken the idea a full step further with their Good Whiskey Passport.

New Yorkers looking to become better acquainted with citywide, whiskey-friendly watering holes can make use of the Good Whiskey Passport to get a drink at more than 40 bars and restaurants around the city during the period between December 13 and February 13, and for a $37 price tag. That is less than a dollar per drink, and coincides with the plenty of whiskey weather (i.e. winter) and the Holidays.

In terms of fine print, the passport does not entitle the bearer to a drink of whatever is on the regular menu. However, every venue is committed to offering a choice of at least two cocktails or neat pours, sized at the dram level (1 oz/ 30 ml). Good Whiskey Passport is raising funds for God’s Love We Deliver and Billion Oyster Project.
