Boundary Oak Open For Visitors

By Richard Thomas

Kentucky micro-distillery Boundary Oak’s new location in Radcliff, roughly between Louisville and Elizabethtown, is now open for visitors.

Boundary Oak originally opened three years ago, becoming the first legal distillery in Hardin County since Prohibition. They began a transition to a new and larger facility in Radcliff last year. The new facility has yet to begin operations, but the still is installed and they anticipate their first production run in a few weeks, after the delivery of some final equipment.

In the meantime, the new Boundary Oak is open for visitors and tastings. Although Boundary Oak’s bourbon has yet to be released (anticipated release date of later this year or next year), they have two sugar ‘shines and an ex-bourbon barrel aged sugar ‘shine.
