Seattle’s Batch 206 To Release Distillery-Only, Oldest Yet Bourbon

Batch 206 Distillery has announced the upcoming release of one of their oldest casks of Straight Bourbon Whiskey, Cask 67. This Single Barrel release of Old Log Cabin will be limited to 260 bottles, and available only at Batch 206 Distillery on a first come, first serve basis starting July 24th.

While Batch 206 Distillery’s original expression of Old Log Cabin Bourbon Whiskey is bottled at 86 proof and a blend of 19 to 26 months old whiskies, this Single Barrel expression will be bottled at higher proof of 89 and aged 32 months. Old Log Cabin Bourbon Whiskey is made using a distinctive mash bill of 51% percent Washington corn and a whopping 49% Washington malted barley!

Batch 206 Master Distiller, Whitney Meriwether, commented “Old Log Cabin is different than any other whiskey on the market, and with that comes a certain amount of risk. Our mash bill and style bridges the Atlantic and encompasses the best of what bourbon and single malt whiskies have to offer. It’s encouraging and humbling to see such an enthusiastic response from drinkers on both sides of the pond.”
