Kilchoman Loch Gorm 2017 Out Now

Kilchoman, the distillery that is both Islay’s newest and the most westerly in Scotland, has released the sixth and latest installment of its Loch Gorm Single Malt Whisky. Loch Gorm 2017 is drawn entirely from whisky aged in Oloroso Sherry butts from Miguel Martin, distilled in 2009. That makes this Sherry-aged malt the oldest Loch Gorm installment yet. The whisky is slated to sell for $99.99 in the U.S.

  1. While Kilchoman is Islay’s most westerly distillery, it is Scotland’s second most. That honor belongs to Abhainn Dearg. I am looking forward to your review of the 2017 Loch Gorm.
