One of Ireland’s leading whiskey companies,Walsh Whiskey Distillery, has appointed Lisa Ryan to the position of Distillery Manager. The company produces The Irishman and Writers’ Tears premium Irish whiskeys, which are sold in over 40 countries worldwide.
Ms. Ryan has responsibility for the production of all three styles of Irish whiskey (pot still, malt and grain) at Walsh Whiskey Distillery in County Carlow. Walsh Whiskey Distillery is built on the Royal Oak estate, which dates back to 1755, by the banks of the River Barrow. It is just an hour from Dublin and 20 minutes from Kilkenny.
