Diageo has added to its Orphan Barrel line of very aged and ultra aged whiskies with an entry that reaches into new ground: Canada. The new release, dubbed Entrapment, is essentially a 25 Year Old Crown Royal, made and aged at the brand’s giant plant in Gimli, Manitoba.
Entrapment was distilled in 1992 from a mashbill of 97% corn and 3% malted barley. The whisky was bottled at 82 proof and will retail for $149.99.
