Takeshi Niinami, the President of drinks conglomerate Beam Suntory who is on his way to Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum 2018, has indicated the company plans to invest approximately $900m into bourbon production, according to Nikkei Asian Review.
Suntory acquired Beam Global in 2014 for a reported $16b. Most of the money will be invested in the namesake Jim Beam Distillery, improving production capacity.
