Teeling Releasing Single Barrel Whiskey For St. Pat’s

The Teeling Whiskey Company, the company that brought whiskey distilling back to Dublin, has released a single barrel whiskey timed for St. Patrick’s Day.

This single barrel release is drawn from 12 casks of Irish malt whiskey distilled in 2002, and matured in ex-bourbon barrels from 12 years. Then the whiskey received an additional year of finishing in ex-White Port casks from the Carcavelos region of Portugal famous for its beautiful light fragrant fruity flavor.

Jack Teeling, founder of the Teeling Whiskey Company, commented, “We are delighted to be able to release such unique and innovative expressions of Teeling whiskey in the U.S. for St. Patrick’s Day. In conjunction with some of the leading U.S. retailers we continue to drive the choice and breadth of offerings for Irish whiskey drinkers.”

The Teeling Whiskey Single Barrel Series will retail for approximately $85, and will be available on shelf in selected spirits’ U.S. retailers in time for St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th 2016. Those retailers are located in Colorado, Illinois, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Texas and Wisconsin.
