Booker’s Bourbon Fourth Batch For 2016 Coming
Booker’s Bourbon is releasing the fourth batch in its 2016 Batch Collection, Batch 2016-04, dubbed Booker’s “Bluegill Creek,” named in honor of founding distiller Booker Noe’s love of bluegill fishing. One of Noe’s favorite pastimes, he would spend long summer days out on the water with his son, Fred, and later, his grandson, Freddie, fishing for bluegill during the hot Kentucky summers. If Booker were here today, you’d be able to find him down by the creek, a fishing rod in one hand and a glass of this batch in the other.
Like all batches of Booker’s Bourbon, Fred Noe personally selected this batch to ensure it upholds the qualities and standards that fans of the brand know and love. Batch 2016-04 has the following characteristics:
- Proof: 128
- Age: 6 years, 5 months, 28 days
- Booker’s “Bluegill Creek” is culled from barrels located in four different rack houses, and the amber liquid offers the signature robust flavors of vanilla present in every batch of Booker’s Bourbon
Booker’s “Bluegill Creek” will be available for $59.99 for a 750ml bottle.
