Bushmills Embarks On £60m Expansion Plan

Bushmills Distillery, the Irish Whiskey company that is located in County Antrim in (British) Northern Ireland and owned by Jose Cuervo, has announced a £60m investment plan to expand production. The plan would add a second, new £30m distillery to the existing plant and construct an additional 29 warehouses for maturing whiskey.

There were no official objections raised to the plan, and full planning permission has been granted. Given that Jose Cuervo is behind the project (and therefore financing is a given), the expansion will go forward with full steam.
