Laphroaig Cairdeas 2019 Coming Out

Islay distillery Laphroaig is poised to release the 2019 installment of their Triple Wood Cairdeas single malt. After a first round of maturation in ex-bourbon barrels, the whisky is then aged again in quarter casks before a final spell is spent in Oloroso Sherry butts. This year’s batch is bottled at 59.5% ABV and will retail for $80.
