Barrell Craft Spirits Unveils New Year’s Bourbon, Plus An Ultra-Aged Bourbon
Barrell Craft Spirits has come out with a new ultra-aged expression, BCS Gold Label Bourbon. This one is a blend of 16 and 17 year old bourbons sourced from four different distilleries in three states: Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee. One of the four consignments (no word on which one) also counts as a double new oak bourbon, having received a finish in toasted new oak barrels. This uncut bourbon will retail for $500.
This coincides with the release of the annual New Year’s bourbon from Barrell Craft Spirits. Barrell New Year Bourbon 2022 draws on a large slate of sourcing, seven states in total: Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, New York, Tennessee, Texas and Wyoming. The age range on this collection of sources is from 5 to 14 years old. As usual the bourbon was bottled uncut and unfiltered, coming out at 115.34 proof and priced at $90.
