Jim Beam Expands Private Barrel Program With New Knob Creek Options

Jim Beam has announced a new branch for its private barrel program in the Knob Creek line, Knob Creek Single Barrel Select Cask Strength, to be available for both bourbon and rye.
The private barrel/single barrel experience includes a visit to the James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, KY, where participants will enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes distillery experience, including barrel selection inside historic warehouse K, thieving whiskey from multiple barrels, comparatively tasting to find the right barrel pick and concluding with a curated dining experience at The Kitchen Table. For retailers not able to join us in KY, the brand will bring the experience to the market with remote selection sample kits.
As the whiskey is bottled directly from the barrel, uncut, the strength is expected to range in proof from approximately 110–130 for bourbon and 100–120 for rye. Knob Creek Single Barrel Select Cask Strength will be available at participating retailers nationwide at a suggested retail price of $69.99 for a 750mL bottle.
