Proper Twelve Now Has A 13 Year Old Single Malt

Proper Twelve Irish Whiskey is going up by a pretty big notch with the launch of its first-ever limited-edition release: Proper No. Twelve 13-Year-Old Single Malt. Sourced from Bushmills, this small batch expression is bottled at 86 proof. As an Irish single malt, the whiskey is made from 100% malted barley and matured American Oak first-fill Bourbon casks and European Oak second-fill Ruby Port casks.

“The release of our 13-Year-Old Single Malt marks a major milestone in Proper No. Twelve’s journey, as the brand launches its first aged single malt whiskey,” said Lander Otegui, Executive Vice President of Marketing for Proximo Spirits. “This 13-Year-Old Single Malt is a more refined expression that still holds true to our roots — bold, accessible, and built for those who appreciate character. It’s a celebration of the exciting future ahead as we continue to expand the brand’s Irish whiskey offerings and disruptor approach to the category.”

This limited-time offering is now available for purchase at select retailers in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Tennessee, Texas, and Arizona for an SRP of $59.99.

Proper Twelve, which is owned by Proximo Spirits, dropped Cono MacGregor from its marketing and representation in November 2024, after MacGregor was found liable in a sexual assault case.
