Israel’s First Single Malt Sold At Auction

By Richard Thomas

Milk & Honey Distillery has achieved a key milestone in releasing it’s first single malt whisky. Thus the Israel’s first whisky distillery has achieved its initial potential and produced the country’s first single malt.

The initial batch of 100 bottles will be sold starting August 11 on whiskyauctioneer.com. Said whisky was aged for 30 months in an American oak hogshead, then transferred for seven months of additional aging in an ex-bourbon barrel, thus meeting the traditional minimum of three years maturation.
