Two Take Plea Bargain In Bourbon Heist Case

By Richard Thomas

Two of the nine defendants in Kentucky’s “Bourbon Heist Ring” have reportedly plead guilty in exchange for reduced charges.

Michael Shaun Ballard and Ronnie Lee Hubbard both entered pleas of guilty to the charge of criminal conspiracy to receive stolen property over $10,000 and will testify against the remaining members of the group. In doing so, Mr. Ballard admitted to being a middle man for alleged ringleader, Gilbert Curtsinger.
