Corsair Distillery Adding New Facilities In Nashville
By Richard Thomas
Seven years ago, Corsair Artisan Distillery started with just co-founder Derek Bell and Andrew Webber working with a 50-gallon still in Bowling Green Kentucky. Their micro-distillery and innovative approach took off and led them to open a second distillery in Nashville, Tennessee.
Now the company plans to open two new facilities in Nashville, both in the Wedgewood-Houston area. The first will house a 2,850-gallon still and the second a 660-gallon, dedicated brandy still, production plant and warehousing. Both will incorporate tasting rooms. This is in addition to Corsair’s existing 1,100-gallon still plant in Nashville, located at used to be Yazoo Brewing, and the malting floor and vineyard they started at a local farm.
