Indiana’s West Fork Distillery Releases Oldest Whiskey Yet
West Fork Whiskey Co. is excited to announce the release of its Old Hamer 10 Year Bourbon, featuring a historically Hoosier mash bill of 99% corn, and 1% malted barley. Interestingly, with that mash bill the only thing making this a bourbon and not a corn whiskey is the new oak barrel in which the new make was aged; if it had been matured in a used barrel, the same thing would have become corn whiskey instead. But this mash bill was specifically chosen to mirror that of the antique Old Hamer style. It is the oldest Old Hamer whiskey to date.
“Distilled, aged and bottled in Indiana, Old Hamer 10-Year is a perfect example of what makes our signature 99% corn to 1% malted barley recipe so desirable,” said West Fork Whiskey co-founder and head distiller Julian Jones. “It is sweet, sophisticated and easy to drink to the last drop.”
West Fork Whiskey Co.’s Old Hamer 10-Year Bourbon (100 proof/50% ABV) is offered at $84.99 MSRP and is available for online shipping and at select retailers throughout the brand’s distribution footprint.
