Sagamore Spirits is known for making its rye whiskey in Baltimore. Time and time again, Sagamore aims to outdo themselves and create something better than what they have done before. This latest expression is no different. This Maryland rye whiskey distillery sets the standard for rye whiskey everywhere.
Sagamore Spirits 9Year Rye Reserve Series is first distilled as a straight rye whiskey, matured for 9 years in new charred American white oak barrels, then finally batched and bottled, in this case at 112.6 proof/56.3% ABV.

The palate is filled with similar rye spice notes along with the addition of cinnamon, vanilla, orange zest, oak, and some nuttiness and pepper. The finish is incredibly long with notes of rye spice, spearmint, oak, pepper, and baking spices.
