Colorado’s Laws Whiskey House New Tasting Hall Now Open
Laws Whiskey House proudly unveils its highly-anticipated, state-of-the-art tasting room, opening December 21st. The 4,000 square foot, two-story Whiskey Sanctuary boasts a striking whiskey church, tasting rooms, full bar, and stunning cocktail lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows, sweeping mountain views, and an expertly crafted cocktail program.
“Just as Laws adds to the fabric of American whiskey, our new tasting room contributes to the fabric of Denver’s whiskey scene,” says Al Laws, Founder and President of Laws Whiskey House. “Like it says on our bottles, there are no shortcuts. Seven years later, we’ve proven that commitment. Our new tasting room offers an exceptional experience as bold and impactful as the spirits we craft.”
Laws Whiskey House’s newly designed Whiskey Sanctuary is unlike anything ever seen before. Created in a bold, brutalist style by BOSS.architecture, the striking design highlights raw building materials and structural elements seamlessly interwoven with aesthetic features like a multi-story spiral staircase and soaring vaulted ceilings. Imposing materials such as steel, glass, stone, and exposed concrete give the exterior a rugged, utilitarian feel, softened by the contrast of rounded furnishings and warm accents of wood, brass, and neutral tones in the interior. At its heart is the “Whiskey Church,” featuring stunning Gothic glass windows and pews hand-carved by Al Laws himself. Guests can enjoy a fully revamped distillery tour and a deeper whiskey education experience, all crafted to foster meaningful connections and enhance hospitality.
“When I started Laws almost 15 years ago, this was always the goal – to create a fully immersive experience that connects people to the whiskey,” adds Laws. “Whiskey is meant to be shared with the people you care about, not something you drink alone in the dark. This village we’re building is all about bringing whiskey lovers together to enjoy great spirits with great company.”
In the cocktail lounge, guests can savor custom cocktails featuring Laws Whiskey House’s terroir-driven whiskey while soaking in the breathtaking mountain scenery. The beverage program offers whiskey flights, single pours, and cocktails (inclusive of non-alcoholic). The menu includes bar snacks and cocktails made with Laws Whiskey House’s housemade rum and agave spirits. The expanded space also includes an enhanced retail area, where visitors can grab bottles of their favorite expressions and pick up exclusive Laws Whiskey House gear, from whiskey glasses to branded merchandise.
