Luxco, the bottler behind Rebel Yell and Ezra Brooks, announced plans to build a $27.3 million distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, according to the Kentucky Economic Development Finance Authority.
The Missouri-based Luxco had already acquired a 50% stake in Limestone Branch Distillery in Lebanon. One of the products coming out of Limestone Branch is the revived Yellowstone Whiskey, at present provided by Luxco.
The distillery is also intended to offer a destination for tourists on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail, and is expected to create 34 full-time jobs.
