Irish Whiskey Tourism Rose 11% Last Year

Last week, the Irish Whiskey Association announced that the number of tourists visiting Irish Whiskey distilleries rose by 11%.

The statistics reflect 12 distilleries in Ireland. 814,000 people visited Irish distilleries in 2017, up from 733,000 the previous year and the approximately 650,000 visitors seen in 2015. Hopes are for these numbers to rise to 1.9 million visitors by 2025.
