Stonewall Goes West answers the Civil War’s most popular alternate history question, “what if Stonewall Jackson had lived?”, in a new and imaginative way. After losing an arm at the Battle of Chancellorsville and spending the summer recuperating with his family, Jackson returns to duty in the autumn of 1863. When the reunited team of Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson inflict one more defeat on the North that October, Jackson becomes the best candidate to replace Army of Tennessee commander Braxton Bragg. Taking his military family with him, Jackson goes west to confront the quarrelsome generals of the Confederacy’s western armies and the victorious Union forces under William Sherman, George Thomas, and James McPherson.

Author and Whiskey Reviewer editor R.E. Thomas will attend the authors tent at 150th Anniversary Reenactment of the Battle of Chancellorsville.
