Manatawny Still Works Marks 11th Anniversary With Older Whiskey

Manatawny Still Works in Pottstown, Pennsylvania has marked their 11th anniversary in making whiskey with a special release: a nine year old whiskey, drawn from one of the early barrels filled with their four grain whiskey distillate. That four grain is a mash of 78% malted barley, 2% roasted malt, 9% wheat, 9% oat, 2% rye mash bill. If you count five and not four there, that is because two different types of malted barley are used. The Manatawny 11th Anniversary Four Grain American Whiskey is bottled at 94 proof and priced at $85 for a fifth bottle.
