Each year the celebrated Dalmore Distillery conducts an annual cask assessment, which is considered a time-honored tradition of five decades. The Dalmore Distillery will only release this specific expression once, with a different “vintage” every year. The Dalmore’s renown and the uniqueness of the expressions make The Dalmore Select coveted by Whisky connoisseurs. One of the Select Editions for 2025 was this 15 year old single malt.

The Scotch
Another fantastic expression from The Dalmore Distillery. The younger release of 2025 Select Edition comes in a lot fruitier than its older companion. This expression is non-chill filtered, natural color, and matured in ex-Bourbon barrels – finished in Matusalem and Amoroso Sherry casks. The Dalmore Select Edition 2010 (2025) is bottled at 49.1% ABV/98.2 Proof.

Color: Light Gold

The nose begins with delightful notes of almond bread followed by baking spices, fresh berries, and honeysuckle. The palate is similar with additional notes of fresh apricots, cereal, baking spices, citrus, and candied walnuts. The finish is long and soothing with notes of ginger and more citrus.

The Price
The Dalmore Select Edition 2010 can be found for $249.99.
