Bourbon & Beyond Festival Teams Up With Moonshine University

Festival goers to the 2018 Bourbon and Beyond Festival can up their bourbon game with on-site bourbon education courses offered by Moonshine University’s Stave and Thief Society. Educators will host free, 45-minute workshops during the festival between performances September 22nd and 23rd. Each 45-minute session explores what defines “Bourbon” and how it differs from other whiskies. Participants will also examine each step in the production process from grain selection through maturation to understand how every decision impacts the final product. Finally, attendees are guided through a brand-neutral sensory evaluation to experience the different profiles that derive from those decisions.

These courses are sponsored by Kentucky Bourbon Trail Tours and will be held on September 22-23, 2018. Workshop tickets can be reserved when purchasing Bourbon and Beyond tickets.

Bourbon and Beyond is the perfect blend of bourbon, food and music. Lineup includes Sting, John Mayer, Robert Plant and many more. In addition to the 40 bourbon offerings this festival has to offer, attendees can also participate in a handful of classes and workshops. To top off the weekend, guests can experience chef demos and taste food from local restaurants.
