Old Forester Releases Tiny Amount Of 150th Anniversary Bourbon

Old Forester marked the 150th anniversary of the brand with a special 12 1/2 year old bourbon selected by Master Distiller Chris Morris, which initially was released only inside the company. 500 bottles were handed out to members of the Brown family (majority owners of the parent company Brown-Forman) and select partners, and 150 bottles were held back for special events. Then came the 2020 Pandemic and lockdown, and those 150 bottles were never used.

Brown-Forman has now decided to release those 150 bottles to the public, in what it is billing as its rarest release ever, due to the tiny production run. Each bottle will have an MSRP attached for $2,500.
