The starting batch of Booker’s Bourbon, which for three decades has stood as Jim Beam’s premiere cask strength bourbon, is basically a memorial to a recently passed company veteran. Barry Berish, former Beam Chairman and CEO and a dear friend to Fred Noe. Barry was a legend at Beam and worked at the company for over 40 years, and he passed away last year.

- 41% came from the 5th floor of 7-story warehouse 3
- 14% came from the 5th floor of 7-story warehouse 1
- 4% came from the 7th floor of 9-story warehouse H
- 32% came from the 5th floor of 7-story warehouse X
- 9% came from the 4th floor of 7-story warehouse G
The result is a Booker’s coming in at 125.7 proof and 7 years, 2 months, and 4 days old. The price is holding stable at $99.99.
