Dad’s Hat Releasing Bottled In Bond Rye Tomorrow
By Richard Thomas
Dad’s Hat Rye, the standard bearer for the revival of Pennsylvania, no-corn style rye whiskey, will release a very limited batch of 200 bottles of four year old, bottled in bond rye whiskey at their distillery on Saturday, November 5th.
Under the 1897 Bottled in Bond Act, whiskey bearing that label must be drawn from stock distilled in the same season, matured in government-controlled warehouses for not less than four years, and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV). The Dad’s Hat Bottled-in-Bond Rye Whiskey will retail for $100.
