Bushmills Releases The Final Rare Cask
Bushmills Irish Whiskey has released the latest and last installment in the distilleries series of limited high-age-statement Irish single malts, The Rare Casks. The oldest yet as well, Rare Cask 04 is a 31 Year Old Single Malt, expertly aged in bourbon, sherry and virgin American oak casks.
Prior to this launch, The Rare Cask series boasted an impressive lineup of 28, 29, and 30 year old whiskies, each finished in a different cask types. Bushmills Rare Cask 04 is triple-cask matured, spending its first 14 years maturing in bourbon barrels and sherry butts before settling into pristine, new American oak casks that were constructed and toasted to Bushmills proprietary specifications under the care of Master Distiller Alex Thomas.
Bushmills 31 Year Old Rare Cask has a SRP of $2,600.
