Blade & Bow 22 Year Old Getting A Re-Release

Blade & Bow 22 Year Old, the ultra-aged bourbon first released in 2015 as part of the Blade & Bow brand launch, is set to get a re-release.

The original Blade & Bow 22 Year Old was introduced to consumers in two different ways. First was the limited edition, age statement release, but some of the stock was also used as part of the initial blend of bourbon used to “charge” the Solera casks for the main Blade & Bow regular release bourbon.

When Blade & Bow 22 Year Old first came out, it was priced at $150 a bottle and, in a departure for ultra-aged bourbon in modern times, was generally available at that price point. Something of an overlooked gem in 2015, it is unlikely to be passed on by enthusiasts again. Also, the suggested price has risen to $250 a bottle. Like the first batch, Blade & Bow 22 Year Old is bottled at 92 proof.
