Malty Verse is a story-telling whiskey company that sells single casks as part of their “Malty Verse in the year 2100”. The goal is to tell a story with premium single casks through a new adventure with every bottling. They are committed to delivering unparalleled whiskey with incredible depth and character. The Malty Verse is a dynamic comic universe that has a story told through whiskey. In this case, the cask is five year old bourbon sourced from Western Kentucky’s MB Roland Distillery.

The Bourbon
Malty Verse No Pressure Whiskey is a full-bodied bourbon with depth and flavor. Although a younger bourbon at 5 years, this expression packs a heck of a punch. With that said, the bourbon drinks more like a rye whiskey. The mash bill is 78% Corn, 17% Rye, and 5% Malted Barley. No Pressure Whiskey is bottled at 48% ABV/96 Proof.

Color: Golden Brown

On the nose are hints of spearmint oak, and nutmeg followed by heavy aromas of rye spice and baking spices. The palate is rather similar with continuing notes of rye spice, baking spices, and oakiness. The finish is incredibly long with notes of rye spice, cracked pepper, and oak.

The Price
Malty Verse No Pressure Whiskey can be found for $79.
