Barrell Bourbon Returns With Red Label, 12 Year Old Toasted Oak Bourbon
Barrell Craft Spirits, a negociant/non-distiller producers (NDP) that has one high marks with whiskey fans for transparency and quality, cask strength bottlings, has a new release in its Red Label series: Barrell Craft Spirits 12 Year Old Bourbon Finished in Toasted Oak. This is labeled as a 12 year old bourbon, but in reality is drawn from 12 to 15 year old bourbon stocks. Those stocks were sourced from Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana, and arrived at a cask strength of 113.4 proof. The suggested retail price is $159.99 per 750ml bottle.
