Silver Trail Distillery Wins Still Lawsuit By Default

Silver Trail Distillery, the Western Kentucky makers of LBL Moonshine, have won their lawsuit against Revenoor Company, filed after April’s deadly still explosion.

Spencer Ballentine, owner of Silver Trail, filed the lawsuit against Revenoor, the Oregon company that made his still, claiming negligence. Revenoor virtually withdrew from the public in the wake of the explosion, temporarily shutting down their website and not answering or returning phone calls.

The company also never responded to Ballentine’s lawsuit, prompting Judge Dennis Foust to sign a default judgement against them yesterday.
