Batch 5 Booker’s, “Off Your Rocker,” Now Available

The fifth batch of Booker’s for 2016 is now in distribution, this one dubbed irreverently “Off Your Rocker,” so named because Booker Noe was known to be rather fond of his rocking chair. Following the time-tested Booker’s model, the whiskey for this small batch was personally chosen by the Beam Master Distiller, Fred Noe, and bottled unfiltered and uncut. In this instance, that yielded a proof of 129.7 (64.85% ABV). The stock for this batch has a slightly higher age statement than has been the case in recent Booker’s releases, at 6 years and almost 8 months.

This fifth batch of Booker’s for 2016 follows Booker’s Bluegrass, Annis’ Answer, Toogie’s Invitation, Bluegill Creek and the first ever release of a rye in the Booker’s line.
