Six weeks ago, The Whiskey Reviewer reported on activity at the Danville City Planning Commission, indicating that Wilderness Trail Distillery was going to have a neighbor. According to The Lane Report, that new distillery will be producing American-made cachaca, the Brazilian spirit made from sugarcane. This spirit is best known as the foundation of the caipirinha. The new company, AMBRAbev, is led by Danville native Zachery Baeker.
