The state of Florida passed a new craft distilling measure on April 25 that greatly expanded what small distillers in the state can do. Under the new law, the uppermost production limit for a craft distillery has been raised from 75,000 proof gallons to proof 250,000 gallons. Craft distillers are also now allowed to sell up to 75,000 proof gallons of their product on-site (“out the front door” sales), as well as to ship out of state with following a “face to face” transaction.
