This includes collaborations with artists, chefs, celebrities, and other whiskey distilleries. Offered in a limited bottling and age, the whisky is one of kind with every new edition. The Harrison Ford collaboration is just one of a special few limited editions that has come out of the Glenmorangie Distillery in recent years.
The Scotch
The Harrison Ford Limited Edition is crafted from careful cask management and good ole Highland spirit, with a “little bite,” as Ford requested it. The whisky keeps true to the Glenmorangie profile while also showing som crafting to Ford’s tastes. The whisky is finished in toasted Portuguese red wine casks, which gives the dram the mentioned “bite.” The Harrison Ford Limited Edition bottled at 46.5% ABV.
Color: Orange Gold
On the nose are notes of vanilla, orange zest, red berries and toasted oak. There is also a heavy bourbon note present throughout. The palate is somewhat creamy with notes of orange zest, brown butter, vanilla, buttered pastries, citrus, and a slight spice note. The finish is long and warming with lingering creaminess and spice, followed by a slight leather note.
