Booker’s Batch 2019-1, the first of this year, has been dubbed “Teresa’s Batch” and is now headed for store shelves. Named for longtime Beam distillery employee Teresa Wittemer, the bourbon is a 6 year, 3 month old whiskey bottled at 125.9 proof.
Wittemer started at Jim Beam 30 years ago under Booker Noe. During her career at the distillery, Teresa has made her mark while working in the Quality Control department and in the lab, becoming an expert on mingling bourbon barrel samples to the exact taste profile Booker preferred for his namesake bourbon.
Booker’s is holding its recommended price point at $79.99.
