Speyburn, the Speyside distillery owned by Inver House Distillers best noted for it’s bargain 10 Year Old single malt, has just concluded a two year, £5 million ($7.2 m) improvements project.
The distillery was built in 1897, and much of the project involved restoration work on the distillery’s historic buildings. However, it also included the installation of a new Forsyths-made copper pot still and mash tun, and the addition of energy efficient technology.
Inver House also owns Balblair, Pulteney, Knockdhu and Balmenach.
