St. George’s Lot 26 Single Malt Poised To Drop Next Week
St. George’s Distillery was a pioneer in the American Single Malt category, as they were part of a class of distillers sometimes dubbed “craft whiskey before craft whiskey was a thing.” Every year since their opening at the dawn of the 21st Century, the California distillery has released a new batch of single malt. That practice has now reached its 26th year.
Lot 26 demonstrates its own distinct character in the glass while honoring the through line that has connected each release since the inception of the Lot series in 2000. On the nose, Lot 26 distinguishes itself with notes of cocoa, brown butter, marzipan, ripe plum, and campfire smoke. You’ll find richness on the palate, with notes of buttery pastry, tahini, dark chocolate, warm cedar, and marmalade.
Pre-orders are live now through the St. George’s website. Pre-ordered bottles may be picked up at the distillery bottle shop starting at 2pm on Wednesday, September 2—or any day thereafter when our bottle shop is open. Pre-orders for delivery in California will begin shipping from the distillery starting on September 2. Lot 26 will also begin hitting the shelves of California bottle shops the first week of September, as well as rolling out in other states throughout the fall season.
