Castle & Key Ups Game With 6 Year Old Bourbon

Kentucky’s Castle & Key Distiller has announced the release of Castle & Key 6 Year Old Small Batch Bourbon (50.5% ABV; $39.99 SRP, 750ml). The new, older small batch expression is currently available at the distillery in Frankfort, KY, Castle & Key 502 retail store in Louisville, KY, and online at castleandkey.com.

The new 6 year old small batch was made from Castle & Key’s 73% white corn, 10% rye, 17% malted barley mash and bottled at 101 proof.

Housed on the former site of the historic Old Taylor Distillery, Castle & Key is a testament to reinvention. The proprietary bourbon was first introduced as a 4-year-old expression in 2022, marking the first bourbon distilled and released at the historic distillery in nearly five decades. Today, the 6-year-old release, now matured into a richer, more complex spirit, marks a significant evolution in Castle & Key’s whiskey portfolio. The release reflects years of thoughtful aging and meticulous blending.
