Rabbit Hole Distillery Unveils Regallier Bourbon
Earlier this week, Louisville distillery Rabbit Hole unveiled its latest creation, Regallier Bourbon. Regallier marries Kentucky craft with French refinement to create a high-rye, double-malt bourbon aged in new American oak and finished in regal French oak casks. At 118.9 proof, this exclusive release is as bold as it is elegant-offering a layered sweetness that builds from bright citrus and vanilla to rich Bing cherry and toasted almond, before finishing smooth and creamy with sweet plum and cocoa.
“Every time cultures come together there is an opportunity for creativity. Regallier is a beautifully balanced, full-bodied bourbon that showcases two distinct traditions and embodies Rabbit Hole’s commitment to originality and innovation,” said Kaveh Zamanian, Chief Whiskey Officer, North American Distillers & Founder of Rabbit Hole.
Rabbit Hole’s Kentucky Straight Bourbon and Rye Whiskeys are truly one-of-a-kind, using signature malted grains, each expression is crafted from a different recipe and enters the barrel at a lower proof to preserve the flavor. It is then matured in toasted and charred barrels and harvested in small batches of no more than 15 barrels at a time.
