Buffalo Trace Adds Sazerac Full Proof In Brand Extension

Hard on the heels of its recent brand extension for Sazerac Rye, with the addition of Sazerac Rye 100 Proof, Buffalo Trace Distillery is expanding the brand again with Sazerac Rye Full Proof. This new bottling in regular release has a proof of 125, but otherwise is the same stock as used in the standard Sazerac Rye and its 100 proof version. Sazerac Full Proof Rye will be priced at $39.99.

In its announcement of the brand extension, Sazerac indicated that it was the completion of its $1.2 billion expansion program at Buffalo Trace that expanded the distillery’s inventory and made the expansion of the Sazerac Rye line possible.

To mark this latest new expression, Buffalo Trace Distillery will celebrate the new release with a limited-time premium tasting experience from Friday, November 14, through Sunday, November 16, featuring the complete Sazerac Rye Whiskey portfolio: Sazerac Rye 90, 100, and Full Proof, as well as Sazerac Rye 18-Year-Old from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection. A $10 ticket to the “Sazerac Rye Vertical Tasting” includes samples of all four expressions, a commemorative Sazerac Rye glass, and a small bite pairing.
