High West Drops A Midwinter Night’s Dram For 2026

Utah’s High West Distillery has released Act 14 of their popular A Midwinter Night’s Dram. In recent years, the expression has been a variant of High West’s Rendezvous Rye, based on a blend of their in-house rye plus rye whiskeys sourced from MGP and (very lately) Bardstown Bourbon Company. The calling card of A Midwinter Night’s Dram is its wide range of finishing; this year takes the base pair of Ruby & Tawny Port barrels, and adds Amontillado, Oloroso and PX Sherry barrel finishes. The expression is cut to 98.6 proof, a cheeky move mirroring the human body temperature in Fahrenheit. The MSRP is $125.
