Rabbit Hole Releases New Maple Brule Finished Rye
For the latest installment in its Distillery Series, Louisville distillery Rabbit Hole has released Amrûlé, their rye whiskey finished for 9+ months in Maple Brûlé barrels. Each maple barrel is a testament to the precision and artistry of the masters at Tonnellerie Moreau in Quebec. The maple seasoning and high-intensity char forge a smoky, dark caramel veil inside the barrel.
“Amrûlé is my exploration of what happens when fire meets sweetness, when rye’s bold spirit encounters the quiet poetry of maple. It’s my effort to push boundaries without breaking faith with the craft. In those maple brûlé barrels, I found a new way to tell rye’s story, one that’s darker, richer, and deeply personal,” said Kaveh Zamanian, Founder of Rabbit Hole.
The new whiskey will be available exclusively at the distillery, priced at $49.99.
