Seattle’s Copperworks Releases Rare 11 Year Old
Copperworks Distilling, the craft whiskey-maker located on Seattle’s waterfront, has unveiled its oldest expression to date, an 11 year old American Single Malt. Distilled from pale malted barley sourced from Great Western Malting and matured in a single cask for over 11 years in a char #3 new American oak cask from Independent Stave Company, it’s an extraordinarily aged whiskey for not just Copperworks, but American single malts and craft whiskey distillers generally.
“This whiskey is a rare piece of Copperworks history as it was drawn from the second cask we ever filled,” said Copperworks President and Co-Founder Jason Parker. “It is a deeply layered, time-tempered American Single Malt Whiskey that captures our origin story in every sip.”
This whiskey has been bottled at 100 proof and carries an asking price of $199.99. The Copperworks 11 Year Old American Single Malt is currently on sale online, and will ship on November 14th.
